State Treasury Bills (SТB)
State Treasury Bills (STB) are short-term, zero-coupon (discounted) government securities with maturities of 3, 6, and 12 months, issued in non-documentary (electronic) form. The nominal value of one STB is KGS 100.
STB are issued at a discount — at a price lower than their nominal value — and are redeemed at par upon maturity. Results of recent auctions are available here
State treasury bonds (STB) are long-term government securities with interest income (coupon) and a maturity of more than 1 year, which are issued in book-entry form. The nominal value of 1 STB is 100 som, coupon payments are made twice a year. The results of the latest auctions are available here.

NBKR Notes
NBKR Notes are short-term securities issued by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic in electronic form. They serve as a monetary policy instrument aimed at regulating the money supply. The nominal value of one note is KGS 10,000. They are issued for a term ranging from 7 to 364 days, placed at a discount, and redeemed at par upon maturity. Features STB
- STB are guaranteed by the Government of the KR and are the most low-risk securities in the KR
- STB are the backbone and the most liquid financial instrument in the securities market of the KR, enjoying a high level of trust from the majority of financial institutions in the country
- The existence of a secondary market allows you to purchase T-bills with the maturity period that best suits your needs, as well as sell them at any time when you require funds
- Placement is carried out through auctions conducted by the NBKR. Auctions are held every Friday*
- Issuance (placement) is carried out every Monday (announcements about upcoming issuances are published on the NBKR website).*
- The MF of the KR fulfills its obligations on STB promptly and in full
*Except in cases when these days are declared public holidays, STB have maturity periods of 3, 6, and 12 months and are issued in a non-documentary form. The placement of STB is carried out at a discount—at a price below their nominal value—while redemption is done at their nominal value. The nominal value of one STB is 100 (one hundred) Kyrgyz soms. Income is generated from the difference between the purchase price and the sale price.

- NBKR Notes have been issued since 1998
- NBKR fulfills its obligations on Notes in a timely and full manner
- Note issuance (7-day, 14-day, 28-day) takes place on Wednesdays
- The placement is carried out through auctions conducted by NBKR. The auction is held every Tuesday*
